Background
 

Commvault is a data recovery company that helps other companies restore their data. Founded in the late 1980s as a group that was within Bell Labs, and was later as a strategic business unit AT&T Network Systems. A couple of years later, they had tremendous growth, numerous innovations, and established themselves as the leader in data and information management. Mike Struening is manager we interviewed, who is the Worldwide manager that is part of the customer support front line. He also went to Seton Hall University.


Objective
 

The purpose of the research is to find how Commvault efficiently helps other companies with data recovery, and how they efficiently use their data and information systems. This blog will also explain the strengths and weaknesses, as well as the industry shape that should affect the decisions and structure of Commvault values. This analysis will help to formulate recommendations for Commvault, and provide ways in which the business can improve upon their current information system.
